Pride of the Celts

Well, the party is over. It was a hell of a run for the boys from Bean Town, but the spoils went to the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe Bryant lifted the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy this year, but next year all bets are off. After all, what does it take to win a championship? It takes plenty of talent and determination. To be sure, the Celtics proved they had both in droves when they lifted the O’Brien Trophy in 2008.

Let’s look at the facts. Of the handful of championship dynasties on record, you would be hard-pressed to find one that rivals the Celtic’s 17 wins. Winning is not just some flash-in-the-pan phenomenon in Boston, it’s a way of life. That is fitting given Bostons reputation for honoring tradition and its sports fanaticism.

All good things come to those who train and you can be sure that Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are leading the greenbacks through drill after drill. Getting into the NBA Playoffs is no small feat and getting to the semi-finals is a feat reserved for only the best teams. Boston proved it had what it took to get to the post-season and there is no reason to think they can return and then some.

Though it 2009 season is now a dream being enjoyed in the City of Angels, it is never too late to begin preparing for the 2010 season. The players have their regime to adhere to, and fans should have their own. Part of that fan regime should involve stocking up on season tickets. When the boys are back on the court, it’ll be too late to find affordable tickets.

Now keep in mind that the best-kept secret to reserving the best Celtics tickets is getting them online. Short of season tickets, the most efficient and affordable means of getting your tickets next year is an online ticket office. You can get the seats you want without having to put up with obnoxious fans pushing you from behind or complaining about the wait.
