How To Live A Simple Comfortable Good Life

Introduction: A lot of people consider wealth as the key to living a comfortable life. Oftentimes this is exactly the main reason as to why many people become unhappy especially when life’s problems are dealt with. It should be well understood that there are so many other things that can make life happy aside from money.

Things You’ll Need: a notebook or pad, materials or equipment for a hobby or sport, a mirrot, a realistic look at life, stong self conviction

Step 1. List down all of the things of which you are thankful for. While there are a lot of bad things happening in your life, surely there are things which you possibly are thankful for or happy about. Write them on your notepad.

Step 2. If you start to feel some painful emotions (i.e. you’re angry at someone, you’re mad about something, you’re sad about something), try to distract your thoughts and emotions by taking out your list and reading it.

Step 3. Pay off your debts. Nothing else can eat you up more than the constant worry about pending debts. Refrain from loaning off things and don’t use your credit card. Live frugally until you don’t have any debt left except for your mortgage.

Step 4: Bring out your writing materials and make a list of your life’s goals. All goals should be realistic and also attainable both in a short and long term basis. A few examples of these are like:

- Making someone smile each day

- Learning a new hobby

- Reading a book a week

Step 5: Look in the mirror and call your inner beauty. Telling yourself you are beautiful is never a conceit. Once you recognize your inner beauty, the outer beauty follows and unveils itself on the outside.

Step 6: Stick with your budget, AT ALL TIMES. The wants in life sometimes cause unhappiness to many especially when these are not met. Bear in mind all the time your financial responsibilities. If you want something really badly then buy it if you can afford it. Otherwise, save up and buy it some other time. Never use your credit card or make another loan to purchase the item.

Step 7. Are you close to your family, siblings or friends? Take note of your relationship with them. Are the relationships the kind you would want to share with them? If not, try working things out by bridging gaps and fostering healthy relationships with them.

Step 8. Try a new sport or hobby. For a change, pick up something new and see if you can have fun doing it.

Step 9. Keep Yourself Healthy. Control what you eat and exercise regularly. A fit and healthy body keeps your mind sound, and makes you go about with day to day activities in a much better way. A healthy body helps you live a healthy and happy life.

Step 10: Be Optimistic! Being confident about whatever things it may be is just the best way to deal with it.

- Think realistically and become accustomed to what you have in life.

- Work hard for the things that you can’t. Not everything is free in life.

- Stay happy! Smile is the key!

- Make it a point to laugh on a constant basis. Of course, make sure there’s an occassion to laugh, and that you’re not doing so just randomly.
